Hi this is Margee! Yesterday i had a great 4th of July. We went to Fashion Island (not actually an Island). I can't really describe any scenic views using gorgeous words to any of you guys, since i was in a mall. First we went and got me a shirt which i really liked. Afterwards (since it was burning hot) we stopped to get some icecream from Haegen Daas which took us like a year to find. Fashion Island reminded me so much of Hawaii. The weather was great, the palm trees were swaying, and the stores were small and cozy just like king shops in Hawaii. I had such a great time. We decided that since it was a holiday we might as well as go to a restaurant and celebrate. We went to the California Pizza Shack and i ordered a very ravishing honey chicken pizza, while my brother got a yucky, greasy, pepperoni pizza. Im gonna hand it over to my bro now so he can describe the fireworks!
Happy 4th of July! :)

George: We were watching the 4th of July party in Washington DC on television, until my granpa's friend called and said we could see fireworks outside of our own building window! Even though it was a little hard to see the fireworks, I was still able to make out some recordings of them. Then another lady from the third floor said that she could see the fireworks much more clearly from her apartment, so she invited us inside. It was true, the fireworks were clearer in her apartment and after a while we went back to our rooms. :)

Finally California feels like California. The day started out with a very typical foggy morning, we all thought it would be just like any other day. Instead though the sun started shining brightly and we sprinted to the beach. It was such a great experience and we enjoyed every single moment of it. The waves were smaller today than yesterday, and im really hoping that we will go to the "wild" beach again since i like that one more. The waves at the "wild" beach are alot bigger, and i feel that the water is warmer too. My friend Sarah will come on Saturday and we are going to go to the beach. We have decided that we will finish what we were writing on the beach the last time we were there. We started writing a long sentence across the whole beach which is a mile or so long. Today i learned how to draw manga and i drew a very pretty picture, and i think that it is one of my best. I need to go and drink tea now.
Thanks
George: Today just like yesterday we spent somewere around half of the day at the beach and came back home on the metro bus. At home we ate a hearty dinner and after that some icecream. Since I had already finished the puzzle that I brought to California my Grandma offered me Sudoku and now thats the only thing I seem to want to do in my spare time. After Sudoku I settled down to watch Jeapordy.

Beaches
Hi this is Margaret and today has been so amazing. In the morning we woke up under a blanket of fog, the last thing we expected was for the sun to come out. Ofcourse usually the things you least expect end up happening. I woke up at 4:00am to the sound of the rain pattering down on the road and couldn't fall asleep for another 17 min (it seemed like 2 hrs) so instead i decided to get up. I got out of bed and shined my iphen (haha i love you man) around the apartement so i could see where i was going. I got out my textbooks and started to work under the kitchen light. At around 5:00am i felt my eyes closing and my head drooping and in 5min i was sleeping deeply on the table. I woke up 20 min later because of my grandpa and went back to my bed to sleep till 8:00 am. Later on after part of the day had passed "le soliel commence brillet tres beacoup" (the sun started to shine alot.) We got a call from our aunt, and our uncle drove us to the beach. The waves were like birds coming down to sweep you up. We wallowed around in the water and mummified ourselves in the warm, seeping sand. Time flew so fast that what felt like 5 min was actually 4 hrs. We got home, took nice warm showers, and ate a very filling dinner! :)
Georges blog: Today we woke up and did our normal morning routine exercise and cereal. Then I did my algebra book Then we packed and headed for the beach while the fog was just clearing up in the sky. We swam for a while, I could hardly believe how high the waves were getting. After a long and tiresome day we headed for home while we shivered in the mild breeze. Approaching our appartments, I met Grandpa standing outside the door with a wide smile on his face (as always). All in all it was a well spent day at the beach and it was time to go to bed. :D
