Hi this is Margee! Yesterday i had a great 4th of July. We went to Fashion Island (not actually an Island). I can't really describe any scenic views using gorgeous words to any of you guys, since i was in a mall. First we went and got me a shirt which i really liked. Afterwards (since it was burning hot) we stopped to get some icecream from Haegen Daas which took us like a year to find. Fashion Island reminded me so much of Hawaii. The weather was great, the palm trees were swaying, and the stores were small and cozy just like king shops in Hawaii. I had such a great time. We decided that since it was a holiday we might as well as go to a restaurant and celebrate. We went to the California Pizza Shack and i ordered a very ravishing honey chicken pizza, while my brother got a yucky, greasy, pepperoni pizza. Im gonna hand it over to my bro now so he can describe the fireworks!
Happy 4th of July! :)

George: We were watching the 4th of July party in Washington DC on television, until my granpa's friend called and said we could see fireworks outside of our own building window! Even though it was a little hard to see the fireworks, I was still able to make out some recordings of them. Then another lady from the third floor said that she could see the fireworks much more clearly from her apartment, so she invited us inside. It was true, the fireworks were clearer in her apartment and after a while we went back to our rooms. :)

Finally California feels like California. The day started out with a very typical foggy morning, we all thought it would be just like any other day. Instead though the sun started shining brightly and we sprinted to the beach. It was such a great experience and we enjoyed every single moment of it. The waves were smaller today than yesterday, and im really hoping that we will go to the "wild" beach again since i like that one more. The waves at the "wild" beach are alot bigger, and i feel that the water is warmer too. My friend Sarah will come on Saturday and we are going to go to the beach. We have decided that we will finish what we were writing on the beach the last time we were there. We started writing a long sentence across the whole beach which is a mile or so long. Today i learned how to draw manga and i drew a very pretty picture, and i think that it is one of my best. I need to go and drink tea now.
Thanks
George: Today just like yesterday we spent somewere around half of the day at the beach and came back home on the metro bus. At home we ate a hearty dinner and after that some icecream. Since I had already finished the puzzle that I brought to California my Grandma offered me Sudoku and now thats the only thing I seem to want to do in my spare time. After Sudoku I settled down to watch Jeapordy.

Beaches
Hi this is Margaret and today has been so amazing. In the morning we woke up under a blanket of fog, the last thing we expected was for the sun to come out. Ofcourse usually the things you least expect end up happening. I woke up at 4:00am to the sound of the rain pattering down on the road and couldn't fall asleep for another 17 min (it seemed like 2 hrs) so instead i decided to get up. I got out of bed and shined my iphen (haha i love you man) around the apartement so i could see where i was going. I got out my textbooks and started to work under the kitchen light. At around 5:00am i felt my eyes closing and my head drooping and in 5min i was sleeping deeply on the table. I woke up 20 min later because of my grandpa and went back to my bed to sleep till 8:00 am. Later on after part of the day had passed "le soliel commence brillet tres beacoup" (the sun started to shine alot.) We got a call from our aunt, and our uncle drove us to the beach. The waves were like birds coming down to sweep you up. We wallowed around in the water and mummified ourselves in the warm, seeping sand. Time flew so fast that what felt like 5 min was actually 4 hrs. We got home, took nice warm showers, and ate a very filling dinner! :)
Georges blog: Today we woke up and did our normal morning routine exercise and cereal. Then I did my algebra book Then we packed and headed for the beach while the fog was just clearing up in the sky. We swam for a while, I could hardly believe how high the waves were getting. After a long and tiresome day we headed for home while we shivered in the mild breeze. Approaching our appartments, I met Grandpa standing outside the door with a wide smile on his face (as always). All in all it was a well spent day at the beach and it was time to go to bed. :D

:P:)Cali
Hi (to the mediocre amount of ppl reading my blog). Anyways time in Cali is flying by so fast i can't believe i have already been here for around a week. I'm so glad that im spending time here. I'm amazingly pissed though because the weather is terrible, the sky is constantly gray, and its windy, (we can still swim though the water is great!). The first two days we were here the weather was nice, it was sunny, and hot. Now though i feel like im still in Seattle and i think Seattles weather might even be better :( I seriosly hope that the sun comes out before i leave California, i really actually want to try swimming in good weather. GRRR! At the moment im sitting inside the apartment looking out of the window, and watching the world cup (Portugal, and Spain), so far they are tied. Im rooting for portugal (Im not sure why). After we eat we're going to try to go to the beach ( I NEED THE SUN!) My mom says that right now whats happening in california is called June Gloom. Am i cursed or something? Out of the amazing seasons in California i happen to arrive during June Gloom. I dont want to stay longer than a month so im really worried i wont get to see the sun at all. I started my embroidery butterfly today, it's nice cause it distracts me from the weather. I just started putting it together so i can start embroidering tommorow. I seperated 6 strands from every single string, and i put together the cloth on which i will embroider. Tommorow im going to start the butterfly. So excited! :) Im crossing my fingers hoping that the water will be warm. Im starting to read a book called Lisey's Story, it's very interesting so far. Its about a women who can't get over her husbands death.....I haven't really read further. I've only gotten to the part where she's trying to clean out her husbands office but she can't because she is still mourning his death. I have to go eat now.
George: The weather is bad here but im happy that we get to go to the beach since the water is really warm. I didn't swim last time since the waves were really big, but i have decided to swim today. Wish me luck! I really have to go and eat...Bye!

California!!!:)
The trip to California was awesome, i had so much fun! Stopping in Sacramento was unbearable it was probably around a 100 degrees farenheight. We topped at a gas station and i did my best to cool off in the bathrooms (the only place which actually had air conditioners). When we climbed back into the car to drive 8 more hours it was burning hot and me and Inga were trying to get comfortable in the back seat. We stopped for a food break and it was such a relief to reach Corona Del Mar since the weather is a little less crazy. I've been watching Fifa world cup and im so pissed that America was beat by Ghana, that left foot kick was amazing. I'm rooting for Germany and Brazil. The only thing i dont like here is the fact that im reminded to much of seattle. It's usually cloudy and the sun comes out (if it comes out) at around 12 or 1. The beach is very nice (it has very warm water). To me when the sun comes out the weather is absolutely amazing and i really want to go to the beach, but my grandparents keep on trying to convince me that the weather isn't good and that it is too windy. I think that sooner or later im gonna break out and simply go swimming. lol! I went to the beach yesterday and even though the weather wasn't that good the water was amazing. I DONT UNDERSTAND!!! When the weather is bad we have to go to the beach but when the sun is out and it's simply amazing we can't? Ummm seriously??? Aside from all this i realy truly do like it here but i'm starting to miss Seattle and my parents. Im curious what else we're gonna do here! SO EXITED!
George's blog: I was very excited when I heard we were going to my cousins house. While at my cousins i played many games with him including cards, chess, and checkers. I won him once in cards, we played Blackjack. The weather was great so we went to the pool which had automated waves and a jacuzzi. After a while of swimming laps in the pool I decided to go play tag with Daniel. He won. Well i let him win. Coming back home we built our second robot the solar powered rover. I had the best time and i hope i get to see him again. Overall i really like California i just wish we could go swimming a little more often. Spending time with my grandparents is great and i enjoy listening to them and all the things they have to say!
Thank you margee

My day...
Yesterday wasn't fun i woke up at my friends house wondering why i was even there? In about an hour it all came back to me. Then i was picked up and the first thing we did was go to Redmond Town Center with me wearing shorts shorts, a tank, and a jacket that was 20 times to small for me. Let's put it this way i was cold.... We bought Annushka the most adorable pearl necklace with earrings (it was her first birthday), and we also got Dad an awesome Italian Leather Wallet which was 50% percent off. We went to Benefit and i got my face done up before my passport picture. I dont think the makeup was worth it since i looked like the Hunchback of Notre Dame in my picture. Yes....my biggest problem is slouching. With passport picture in hand I arrived at my dance studio and realized that i had forgetten something essential for my dance attire, and had to stay in jean shorts and a baby doll. I got home and stayed home. Thats my day!

SUMMER!
During those free days of the summer all you want to do is sleep in, wake up, watch T.V, and eat, and eat, and eat. We don't have much candy so the eating thing doesn't really work out, our T.V has crashed, and well my version of sleeping in is till 11:00 o clock. So in order to keep myself busy i have to makeup activities for myself. You may think that finding those activities might be a little tough but trust me it really isn't that hard. Sometimes you could use this time to do the things that you have completely forgotten about. I haven't played the piano in around, hmmmm....let's see, around 2 yrs or so. Today i realized that i could use all that extra time to play the piano, to draw a bit, to do some stuff that i had completely lost as time went by. I started off my day by eating a little bit of hummus with bread while watching a very interesting suspense movie. The movie was bout 2 kids whose parents die in a car crash and then they have to go and live with their creepy guardians who are trying to kill them for their money. It had the most amazing ending which im not gonna break to you. Afterwards i went and played the piano and remembered some of the pieces i used to play when i was still taking lessons. Right now i am writing my blog and im gonna go answer the door for my brother when he comes home.
